The Second and Last Chance to the Final

Tonight is the Second Chance round for all the artists who made it further in the competition but did not grab the top two spots in their qualifying rounds. There are two places left in the final and the artists will fight hard to get those spots.

The remaining contestants include:

Robin Stjenberg - You
Eric Gadd - Vi Kommer Aldrig att Förlora
Caroline af Ugglas - Hon Har Inte
Behrang Miri - Jalla Dansa Sawa
Erik Segerstedt and Tone Damli - Hello Goodbye
Anton Ewald - Begging
Cookies 'N' Beans - Burning Flags
Martin Rolinski - In and Out of Love

One difference between the Second Chance and the qualifiers is the duel round. Once these choices are narrowed down to the top four selections, they will go on to a final duel round. They will be seeded. Number one will meet number four. Number two and three will duel it out. The two big winners from the duels will stamp their ticket to the final in Stockholm on March 9.

You can watch the program tonight at 8 pm Central European Time here: svt.se/play

  1. I did watch last night's show. At first I was confused as to why these artists were performing again. I get it now. Anyway, it was nice to see Caroline perform again, as the sound of her voice sends shivers down my spine.
I thought Anton deserved to win. He presents a good combination of looks, charm, voice, choreography, and a decent song (although I didnt want to hear him sing the word "begging" one more time)... Michael

    1. I'm sure Caroline's song will find success on the radio. Its sound is unique and stood out among the competition this year. Anton does have a nice all around show and song, so I'm not too surprised he's in the final. If you didn't like how many times he repeated, "Begging", you should listen to "Gosa" by Mary N'diaye. I think the title word is repeated about 50 times and that's no exaggeration.

  2. I watched the show and saw the two ladies with the boas that you interviewed earlier in your blog. They still looked like they were having a great time! Mor :)
